Sho Sakurai named GQ Japan’s MAN OF THE YEAR

Arashi fans like myself are excited to hear that SHO SAKURAI has been voted as Japan’s MAN OF THE YEAR 2009! Omedetou Sho-san.

This award is actually fairly new, only around for the past four years. Sakurai actually joins group member Jun Matsumoto in this small group of award winners. Matsumoto having winning the Man of the year award in 2008.

Award winners in other categories include Koki Mitani, Eikoh Hirada, Hisashi Iwakuma, and Tsurube Shoufukutei. Awards and bouquets were presented by actress Meisa Kuroki.
